Benenden Hospital has three operating theatres, as well as an MRI and CT suite and diagnostic suite. After our multi-million pound redevelopment, all of our facilities are have been designed to ensure our patients feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
We have 32 beds across a range of stunning wards, dedicated to both inpatient and day patients. The ward offers modern facilities, as well as private bedrooms that are bright and spacious with ensuite wet room facilities.
Our Ambulatory Care Unit is equipped with the highest quality equipment for upper gastro-intestinal investigations, sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy.
We also run private GP clinics, where you can arrange a consultation with our GPs at a time to suit you. The service covers general medical care, including health check and fitness for work certification.
We are proud of our zero rate for MRSA blood stream infections and do all we can through this rigorous screening programme to maintain this excellent record.
All patients undergoing surgery at Benenden are screened for MRSA. (For Ophthalmology, Endoscopy and Day Case Radiology patients, only those who are at high risk of being positive for MRSA will be screened.)
