We’re recruiting for a Business Development Manager on a nine month fixed term contract to lead the identification, development, and launch of innovative products and services that support our hospital’s growth strategy. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about making a meaningful impact.
We are looking for an experienced sales or Business Development professional who will be responsible for the development of new and existing services, you will identify and bring new products to market. The Business Development Manager will liaise with internal and external stakeholders initiating business development opportunities.
As Business Development Manager, you will:
- Bring to market new products and services already in development.
- Identify and deliver new opportunities that drive business growth.
- Build strong relationships with consultants and senior management to promote hospital services.
- Oversee product and service development projects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with third-party partners to expand channels for existing products.

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Launch new products and services against pre-agreed targets.
- Deliver key projects in collaboration with hospital stakeholders.
- Generate insights and data analysis to support strategic growth.
- Work closely with clinicians and consultants to identify innovative service opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing to develop launch programmes.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and report on progress.
- Support financial and activity targets in partnership with Sales & Marketing.
- Uphold governance standards, policies, and procedures.
Skills and experience required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in business development, ideally within healthcare or a similar industry.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Project management expertise with the ability to deliver under pressure.
- Degree-level education in healthcare, business, economics, or marketing—or 5+ years’ relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Evidence of ROI and data analysis capabilities.
