I’m the Business Applications Manager and have been working at Benenden for 20 years. My present role is varied as we look to ensure that the hospital becomes a digital-first hospital. Clinical Skills and Simulation Facilitator

£43,742 - £45,996 per annum

Permanent Contract, Full time (37.5 hrs)

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Skills and Simulation Facilitator to join our Learning & Experience team. The successful candidate will facilitate and coordinate our Basic Life Support (BLS) and Immediate Life Support (ILS) programmes through the Resus Council alongside other clinical skills and simulation training. 

This role is a fantastic opportunity to lead on developing and training clinical skills across the hospitals work force. 

This an excellent position for someone who is passionate about training in a healthcare setting with the opportunity to design and deliver simulation training across the hospital.

This is a full time role predominantly working Monday - Friday. However there will be the occasional need to work weekends and bank holidays following the requirements of the hospital and training schedule. 

Clinical Governance Lead

£35,392 - £50,056 per annum

Permanent Contract, Full time (37.5hrs)

We are currently recruiting for a fundamental role within our senior team. The clinical governance lead is responsible for the on-going development of a proactive and robust clinical quality, safety, IPC, compliance and governance framework that enables the Hospital to measure and continuously improve the quality of the clinical services.  Responsible for line management of the governance team and the hospital’s IPC Lead nurse, ensuring the hospital’s Infection Prevention Control programme is effectively embedded.  

This is an excellent opportunity to join Benenden Hospital providing quality care whilst adhering to ethical and legal principles. By identifying risks and concerns you will contribute to the safety and quality of patient care across the hospital.

We are currently seeking a Buyer to join our friendly procurement team of seven. This role reports into the deputy Head of Procurement and you will be responsible for procuring goods and services for Benenden Hospital. Ensuring Procurement services are in line with the requirements of the Hospital and the principles of best practice within Procurement to ensure that the Hospital’s operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.

You will be leading this end-to end process working closely with other departments within the hospital, particularly finance. The position would suit a candidate with commercial awareness in the early stages of their career in Procurement or purchasing, working towards or willing to undertake CIPS professional qualifications. 

Deputy Decontamination Services Manager

£29,970 - £37,500 per annum

Permanent Contract, Full time

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Decontamination services Manager To support the Decontamination Services Manager in the operational day to day management of the sterile Services department. 

Your role will be working closely alongside the DS Manager to help lead, develop and improve the service to ensure that delivery is safe, efficient and cost effective as well as following best practice.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in the field, be health and safety conscious and a strong leader with a positive mindset.
