We are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to provide our patients with a high standard of musculoskeletal care and to coach and support our junior members of the team.
As our Senior Physiotherapist, you will conduct holistic and thorough assessments for our outpatients by creating individualised, clinically reasoned and evidence-based treatment programs. You will also contribute and facilitate excellent levels of physiotherapy care to our orthopaedic inpatients, providing supportive rehabilitation for prompt discharge and successful home recovery.
You will be an active member of the department and will support the department lead in the development implementation of audits, in-service training/peer reviews, guidelines, and service provision.
This role is part time working across three days a week.

About the role
- Provide a high standard of Physiotherapy care in musculoskeletal outpatient service. To include holistic and thorough assessments, resulting in individualised, clinically reasoned and evidenced based treatment programs
- Contribute and facilitate excellent standards of physiotherapy care to the orthopaedic in patients and be an active member of the multidisciplinary team.
- To support and coach junior members of the team, including students and physiotherapy assistants
- To be an active member of the department and to support the department lead in the development and implementation of audits, in-service training/peer reviews, guidelines and service provision.
Skills and experience required
- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Relevant experience at junior level within the MSK outpatient setting
- Basic awareness of respiratory principles and techniques, including ACBT.
- Aware of the KSF
- Aware of the importance of clinical governance and its role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- IT literate
- Excellent prioritisation, delegation and time keeping skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Able to demonstrate clinical and professional development
- Good initiative
- Strong patient centre -approach
