Wear a face covering - but make it bright and cheerful

Wear a bright and cheery face covering

Please note: the need to wear a face covering may change. Visit our infection prevention and control page for the latest information on wearing face masks around the hospital.

When you come to Benenden Hospital for your appointment you’ll find that staff who need to be close to a patient in clinical areas of the hospital will be following social distancing guidelines and continuing to wear the surgical masks they're required to.

And while we ask everyone coming to Benenden Hospital to ensure they wear a face covering, we’re also encouraging you to make it a bright and cheerful experience.

To help you make your own face covering ahead of your visit to the hospital, here’s a link to a guide showing different types and step-by-step instructions on how to your make face coverings.

Jazz it up, make it funky, make it bright, but whatever idea you come up with, please ensure you do wear a face covering when you come to the hospital for your appointment. We look forward to seeing your creations, so do take photos wearing your face coverings and share them with us…and maybe you’ll let us take a photograph to show your face covering on our social media sites?

The health and wellbeing of everyone is our priority at Benenden Hospital, whether you’re a patient, a visitor, or a member of our team and we’re determined to make your visit a happy one too. If you have any questions regarding your appointment, please contact us on 01580 230661.
