Throughout February 2017, Waitrose in Tenterden is supporting the Rising Mercury Society, friends and fundraisers for Benenden Hospital.
Shoppers are given a token at the till and can choose one of several charities to give it to. The Rising Mercury Society is one of the options. The more coins collected the more that Waitrose will donate to the good cause, under its Community Matters scheme.
The store also supported the RM Society during 2016.
What is the Rising Mercury Society?
The RM Society is a way for former Benenden patients to keep in touch and show their support and appreciation of the hospital. Find out more about Rising Mercury here.
