Following their success in the London to Brighton charity cycle ride a group of staff from Benenden Hospital are to embark on another challenge – to ride from London to Canterbury.
The bike ride is organised by and raises funds for The Children’s Trust, for children with brain injury. Taking part on Sunday 11 September will be Jack Harland, Michelle Anderson, Derek Rose, Mandy Crane, Mary Barker and Paul Collier, who work in departments across the Hospital from HR and IT to catering and diagnostic imaging.
Riders set off from London and can opt for a 65 or an 80 mile route, finishing near Canterbury Cathedral.
The individuals will be asking friends and family to sponsor them. The group has also placed a collection bucket in the Hospital’s restaurant.
