Originally from Barcelona, I trained and qualified in Dermatology at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where I specialised in reviewing moles and general skin conditions. I am currently a consultant at The Royal Marsden Hospital and in East Sussex NHS, where I lead the skin cancer multidisciplinary team. I am also a consultant in Internal Medicine which gives me a very holistic approach to Medicine, beyond the skin.
Previously, I was a Consultant at Sussex University Hospitals, where I was the chair of the specialist skin cancer meeting. I am an active member of the British Association of Dermatologists and European Association of Derrnato Venereology.
I treat all aspects of dermatology in adults. My interests include: Moles, skin cancer, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. I am an experienced surgeon and carry out biopsies, removal of moles or skin tags, steroid injections for hair loss or keloid scars and use of cryotherapy.
I have published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. I moved to Kent with my family to be able to enjoy life in the countryside. My main hobbies and interests include travel and hiking.
Although I work in English, I am also fluent in Spanish and Catalan, so would be happy to consult in these languages for patients where English is not their first language.
