About Dr Flores
I completed my medical training at the University of Conception in Chile and after working in general medicine for some years, I underwent my Specialist Training in Neurology at the University of Chile where I graduated with Highest Distinction.
I moved to the UK to pursue further training in neurology, epilepsy and electroencephalography including video monitoring. I obtained a MSc in Epileptology from the King’s College London.
I have been working in the NHS for several years, initially as a Clinical Fellow at King’s College Hospital in London, and then as a Neurology Consultant in East Kent Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust (EKHUFT), where I am based at the William Harvey and Kent & Canterbury Hospitals.
I undertake clinics in General Neurology, Epilepsy, and EEG/Video Telemetry reporting, contribute to the inpatients neurology referrals and am part of the on-call neurology rota. I'm also the Clinical Lead for Neurosciences as well as the Clinical Governance Lead.
I regularly attend the King’s College Regional Complex Epilepsy MDT and the Epilepsy Surgery MDT.
I enjoy spending time with my family and walking our dog. I love cooking, making jam, knitting, gardening, and travelling.
