About Annie Cruse
I graduated from Cardiff University in 2020 with a first-class BSc Physiotherapy degree. After graduating and receiving HCPC registration, I worked for NHS Wales from 2020 – 2022 as a rotational band 5, covering a variety of areas within physiotherapy such as – musculoskeletal (MSK), medical rehabilitation, stroke, cardiorespiratory, community and Neuro rehabilitation. This experience has provided me with a broad set of skills and knowledge within the field of physiotherapy, however, my main interest is in the musculoskeletal speciality.
I volunteered as a physiotherapist for a women’s football team in Melbourne. I have been playing football since the age of five and play locally for a team in Kent. My passion for sport and women’s football is what has led me to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
Since returning to the UK in December 2023, I began working at Benenden Hospital as a Senior Physiotherapist in January 2024. I now manage a complex caseload of MSK and orthopaedic patients, working alongside a team of highly skilled Physiotherapists, Consultants, Nurses and Pharmacists.
