Abir Hamza-Goodacre is a BANT Registered Nutritional Therapist offering nutrition and lifestyle coaching to help her clients feel healthy, productive and in control of their wellness. She has over 10 years’ experience in the field of nutrition, providing a personalised, evidence-based and practical approach to health.

At the Benenden, she is working in the Bariatrics team under Consultant Surgeon Mr. Ahmed Hamouda. Her role is to support patients through their weight loss journey with nutrition and lifestyle advice that is tailored to individual needs and goals.

Abir gained her degree in Nutritional Therapy from the University of West London in 2012. She also holds an MSc in international poverty and aid work, specialising in community-based projects. Abir is a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). 

 Abir is Community & Partnerships Director at BANT. BANT’s vision is for a healthier population through informed nutrition and lifestyle choices. Its members are the leading nutritional therapists in the country.
