About me
I was educated in Maidstone and the Medway Towns, followed by a few years working in civil engineering for a water Authority before taking a break to have a family. I then retrained and qualified from Southampton College and Charing Cross Hospital in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement. I now have 30 years’ experience working in Audiology, both in the NHS and at Benenden Hospital.
I’ve held Senior Audiologist posts at hospitals in Hampshire, Kent and East Sussex as well as being contracted to provide audiometry services to Benenden Hospital since 2005. I retired from my last NHS post in 2017.
I live in Kent with my husband. My two sons are now grown up and are in sales and teaching.
My hobbies mainly revolve about being in the outdoors – umpiring hockey, coaching umpires, fitness training, playing tennis, cycling, walking, skiing, caravanning and travelling. Other interests include eating out and paying regular visits to galleries, restaurants and shows in London.
