About Mr Dunning

I achieved my medical qualification from the University of London in 1994, subsequently completing my specialist training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery in the South East Thames region.  I also trained in orthopaedic surgery at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, The Royal Free, Guy's and St Thomas’ and King's College Hospital plus other hospitals in London and the South East.

I undertook a year-long fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital plus a Travelling Fellowship with the internationally renowned Foot & Ankle Surgeon, Dr V J Sammarco, at the Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in the USA.

In addition to the services I provide at Benenden Hospital, I also work with the NHS as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust and am a GMC recognised trainer.

I am married with two children.

“I chose to book an initial consultation with Benenden Hospital because I’ve been a member of Benenden Health for nearly 20 years. I was 17 when I joined and I live in Ashford which isn’t far from the hospital. These factors made my decision an easy one.”
