About Mr Southgate

I graduated from the University of Wales, College of Medicine - Cardiff and my early surgical training was in Swansea and Cardiff, before undertaking higher surgical training on the South East Thames training circuit.

My interest in surgery of the foot and ankle developed by undertaking a fellowship in the subject in Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, gaining exposure and specialist training across the full range of adult foot and ankle pathology.

I have presented and published research to national and international orthopaedic meetings and peer reviewed journals.

My hobbies include angling and natural history.
