About Dr Chowdhury
I have worked in the field of clinical neurology since 1993 and was appointed as a Consultant in 1999.
My undergraduate and research training was completed at the University of Oxford. I subsequently worked in a number of specialist centres in London such as the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Charing Cross Hospital and St George's Hospital.
I have been an educational supervisor for Neurology Trainees at South East Deanery of the Royal College of Physicians, Neurology clinical lead for East Sussex Healthcare Trust and a medicolegl expert witness.
In addition to widely published clinical papers and text contributions on a wide range of topics including cerebral vasculitis, brachial neuritis, Parkinson's disease in pregnancy, dissociative seizures and autoimmune encephalitis, I have published research papers on dopamine in the brain
In my spare time, my hobbies include playing the guitar (badly) and following Arsenal football club.
