Dr Chowdhury has worked in the field of clinical neurology since 1993 and has been a Consultant since 1999.

He completed his undergraduate and research training at the University of Oxford before working in specialist centres such as the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London, and the academic unit of neurosciences at Charing Cross Hospital.
