The Bensan Ward formed part of our multi-million pound redevelopment, which opened in 2017. The ward offers modern facilities and improves the experience of a hospital stay for our day case and short stay inpatients.
Bensan Ward is named after the band who used to march TB patients from the hospital when they were discharged, a significant event from our treasured heritage and history.
With eye-catching interior graphics and artwork designed specially by artist Hugh Turvey, the ward offers fantastic modern facilities to our patients, combined with private individual rooms that are bright and spacious with en-suite wet room facilities.
Each room on Bensan Ward has a digital flat screen television together with free direct dial local telephone calls. Many of the rooms also have lovely views across the heart of the Kent countryside and you’ll be looked after by our exceptional staff; compassionate professionals who really care.
