About Mr Arnold
I am a HCPC registered Clinical Scientist specialising in Respiratory and Sleep, with experience across both adult and paediatric services. I am skilled in performing and interpreting a wide range of respiratory investigations, including pulmonary function tests, respiratory muscle strength assessments, and the management of patients requiring long-term ventilation or supplementary oxygen.
In sleep medicine, I have expertise in scoring and analysing oximetry, polygraphy, and polysomnography studies, as well as managing therapy for patients using CPAP and NIV devices. I am familiar with wearable sleep monitoring technologies and regularly present findings in multi-disciplinary team meetings, providing evidence-based recommendations for diagnosis and treatment.
I am actively involved in patient pathways, supporting assessment, investigation, and management decisions to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care. My clinical focus encompasses optimising therapy, reviewing complex cases, and ensuring that diagnostic data directly informs patient management.
With a strong foundation in both respiratory and sleep sciences, I am committed to delivering accurate diagnostics and contributing to improved outcomes across the full patient pathway.
