About Dr Petzold
I am an experienced Consultant Neurologist, specialising in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of adult neurological conditions.
With a broad clinical interest across general neurology, I manage conditions including migraine and other headache disorders, seizures and epilepsy, blackouts and faints, vertigo and dizzy spells, as well as sensory disturbances such as numbness, tingling, and weakness. My particular expertise lies in the diagnosis and treatment of Multiple Sclerosis, an area in which I have built a strong clinical and academic foundation.
Since 2016, I’ve held a substantive post as a Consultant Neurologist and Multiple Sclerosis Lead at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. I am an active member of the regional MS workgroup SELKAMS and lead the undergraduate neurology teaching programme within the Trust.
I take a thorough, patient-centred approach and am dedicated to improving neurological care through education and collaboration.
