About the role
- Plan and implement high-quality, evidence-based care in line with hospital policies
- Promote a patient-first approach, ensuring safety, dignity, comfort and respect at all times.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
- Support and contribute to a culture of professionalism, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold robust documentation standards
Skills and experience required
- First Level Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
- Significant post-registration experience within a relevant specialty.
- ILS training, or willingness to undertake this as part of professional development.
- Basic experience in phlebotomy and ECG monitoring.
- Excellent organisational, planning and problem‑solving
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and support effective team working in a positive, sometimes challenging environment.
- Demonstrable patient‑centred approach with a commitment to delivering the highest standards of care.
- Sound IT skills, including MS Office and web‑based reporting systems.
- A commitment to fostering a professional, collaborative and supportive team culture.
- Evidence of honesty, integrity and ethical practice in the workplace.
