London to Brighton bike ride

Staff from Benenden Hospital are taking part in this year's London to Brighton Cycle ride, which takes place on Sunday 19 June.

The riders are from departments across the Hospital including nursing, medical, Human Resources, IT, management and admin. They are Jack Harland, Mary Barker, Paul Collier, Derek Rose, Michelle Anderson, Mandy Crane, Annabel Waters, Nicola Moore, Rebecca Fellowes and Sarah McKenzie. The riders will be accompanied by another member of staff, Karie Killick, in a support vehicle.

The London to Brighton Cycle Ride is a fundraising challenge starting in London and finishing on Brighton seafront.

It starts in South London, travels through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath and finally finishes in Brighton with riders having completed 54 miles.

Staff began their training some months ago and are now eagerly awaiting the big day. They will be raising money for the British Heart Foundation who organise the ride.
