About Mr Spiteri
I am a fellowship-trained Consultant Urologist with a broad clinical practice covering a wide range of urological conditions. A top graduate in Medicine and Surgery in Malta, I then completed my surgical and urological training locally before being admitted as a Fellow of the UK Royal College of Surgeons (Urology). I also hold a Fellowship from the European Board of Urology.
Appointed as a Consultant in 2022, I have a subspecialist expertise in the comprehensive management of kidney cancer. I'm currently the Lead Consultant for kidney cancer at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. I offer state-of-the-art care using robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques for both cancerous and benign/reconstructive upper tract (kidney) conditions, helping patients recover faster and return to their normal lives.
I am committed to providing clear, compassionate, and individualised care. I strive to fully inform patients about their conditions to enable them to be actively involved in the decision making process regarding their care. In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in training and mentoring colleagues in my subspecialist field, particularly in robotic surgery.
Outside of work, I am married and a proud father of two. I enjoy running, travelling, exploring different cultures, and listening to music in all its forms.
