Mr Conor Lane

I studied optometry at City University, London and gained my professional qualification in 2008. Since then, I have worked in a variety of high street, independent and hospital environments throughout London and Kent.

I have undertaken specialist qualifications including independent prescribing which grants me therapeutic prescribing rights. I obtained further qualifications in glaucoma and medical retina.

At Benenden Hospital, I work alongside the ophthalmology consultants as a Specialist Refractive Optometrist helping to deliver the special lens service which involves multifocal intraocular lenses and astigmatism correcting intraocular lenses.

Outside of work, I live with my wife and our cat in London and in my spare time, I play the guitar.

I am a member of the following bodies:

• College of Optometrists
