In 2013, he spent a year on a specialist hand fellowship with world renowned surgeon Mark Ross at the Brisbane Upper Limb Institute. Here he gained specialist experience managing complex upper limb conditions including microsurgery.

He is a full time NHS consultant working at the William Harvey and Canterbury Hospitals where he delivers the Hand service to the local population.
