We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Receptionist to join our team. This role is central to the patient journey and plays a key part in delivering a welcoming, efficient and professional service.
The post holder will always provide a high standard of customer service, ensuring a positive, smooth and highly efficient experience for patients, visitors and colleagues. You will act as a key point of contact, supporting both administrative and reception functions within a busy healthcare environment.

About the role
- Provide a warm, professional and patient-centred reception service
- Manage administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, supporting clinical and non-clinical teams
- Handle enquiries sensitively, using tact, discretion and diplomacy
- Maintain accurate records and utilise healthcare systems and IT applications effectively
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support service delivery and patient care
Skills and experience required
- Excellent customer-centred approach with a commitment to high-quality service
- Previous relevant administrative or reception experience
- Customer care qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Relevant experience within a healthcare or customer-focused environment
- Excellent IT skills, including Compucare, Microsoft Office and other applications relevant to the role
- Proven ability to undertake multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Methodical and well-organised, with a high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrates a strong team-working ethos
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, using tact, discretion and diplomacy
