About the role
As a Porter, you will:
- Safely transport patients, beds, equipment and supplies throughout the hospital.
- Support clinical departments with the movement of specimens, instruments and patient records
- Assist with the collection and transportation of waste streams in accordance with hospital procedures.
- Drive hospital vehicles to transport equipment and supplies on and off site.
- Assist during emergency situations and support the wider hospital team as required.
- Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service at all times.

Skills and experience required
You will have:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
- A caring and professional approach when interacting with patients, visitors and colleagues.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience in a customer service, logistics, healthcare or operational environment would be advantageous.
