We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Reservations Advisor to join our Reservations Team. This role is key to delivering a high-quality and efficient service, acting as an ambassador for the organisation and ensuring a positive experience for patients.
Working as part of a supportive and collaborative Reservations Team, the post-holder will work flexibly across the function to support the management of patient pathways, providing a seamless contact centre and booking service whilst supporting the wider Patient Administration Service. Responsibilities will include handling patient enquiries, manage appointments, and coordinating bookings and reservations across outpatient clinics, ACU and Theatre services.
The successful candidate will contribute to the achievement of departmental and organisational objectives by working closely with colleagues to deliver an efficient, responsive and customer-focused service. They will be expected to meet departmental key performance indicators (KPIs), quality standards and productivity targets, supporting the continued success of the team.

About the role
- Promote and consistently deliver the highest standards of customer service.
- Provide a comprehensive reservations and administration service, including appointment booking for clinics, ACU and theatre.
- Process patient referrals accurately and efficiently, ensuring all bookings align with relevant guidelines.
- Communicate with patients in a clear, positive and professional manner to facilitate timely conversion to consultations, tests or procedures.
- Work in line with contact centre service standards, service level agreements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of the wider reservations team.
