Benenden Hospital in Cranbrook, Kent, is holding a free event to highlight its expertise in the treatment of unsightly or painful varicose veins.
The event, on Saturday, 5 May between 10.30am and 12 noon is aimed at anyone who wishes to find out about the condition itself and the self-pay healthcare available at Benenden Hospital.
Benenden Hospital is the leading centre in the UK for Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT) and the Hospital’s Vascular Consultants, Eddie Chaloner and Aaron Sweeney, will host the event in May with those attending having the opportunity to talk with them about the condition and what is involved in the procedure. Consultant Surgeon, Eddie Chaloner pictured explains:
“EVLT is a minimally invasive laser treatment for varicose veins. No general anaesthetic is required and this is a same day procedure, with no overnight stay. Recovery is usually quick and most people return to work in around two weeks.”
Individuals booking and attending this event will also be offered a free consultation for appointments booked between 5 May 2018 and 8 June 2018 and completed by 29 June 2018.
As well as providing essential information about the procedure, this special open event will also include a tour of the brand new outpatient facilities, a light buffet lunch and refreshments.
