I obtained a degree in Chemistry at Oxford University which included a pharmacological research project and then qualified in medicine having trained at St Thomas' Hospital, London.
I subsequently undertook specialist neurology training holding specialist registrar posts at a number of hospitals in London including a senior registrar role at The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Queen Square,
For many years I have been a Programme Director for Neurology in South London and Kent, overseeing the training of neurology junior doctors and helping them to develop their careers. I am also a GMC recognised trainer and a training advisor for the Royal College of Physicians in London.
In addition to the services I provide at Benenden Hospital, I work with the NHS as a Consultant Neurologist at the Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. I am also a Honorary Consultant Neurologist at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London.
My clinical interests include multiple sclerosis, migraine, headache disorders and peripheral nerve disorders.
