We are recruiting for a Physiotherapy Department Lead, to join and develop our experienced team. The role is full time and requires flexibility to cover both weekend and evening work as required.
Your main responsibilities will include planning and implementing high standards of physiotherapy care for patients, and being accountable for the safe day to day running of the service. You will also need to actively manage and develop all members of the team and manage their performance and conduct. There is also accountability for the management and coordination of the department, so you will liaise with the Matron. We need a person who can within the organisation to grow the department and act as a positive role model for the team.
To be considered for this position, you will need to have the knowledge and experience:
- Significant post-graduate physiotherapy experience, including management and development of a team
- Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Mentorship/ Clinical supervision qualification or previous experience of coaching and managing teams.
- Excellent IT Skills
- Evidence of CPD in line with HCPC requirements.
The postholder will be expected to be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and will be expected to abide by the relevant Code of Conduct and any supporting policies/procedures for clinical staff within Benenden hospital.
