At Benenden Hospital we're very proud of our people, who work so hard to enable a safe, comfortable, patient-focused environment for those in our care.We have a part time position for a Pharmacy Technician to join our onsite Pharmacy team. The Pharmacy Technician will contribute to a high-quality pharmacy service to our patients, employees, on the ward and at department level.
As a key member of the pharmacy team, your purpose will be to ensure the safe dispensing and supply of medicines to all our patients and be actively involved in ensuring that medicine management is optimised in the peri-operative period.
This post provides the opportunity to develop your training/mentoring skills as you will take an active role in training of other healthcare staff on medication management topics, in addition to the supervision of our Pharmacy Assistant, conducting competency assessments were required.
