Hospital encourages science students

Benenden Hospital is supporting the KM Bright Sparks Awards – for the second year running.

The competition is for primary and secondary school children and aims to encourage a passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths).

The competition categories are Innovation, Investigation and Invention.

The KM Bright Sparks Awards are run every year, with the finals taking place in June. Finalists will be judged by the competition's 'Dragons’ and it is run in a Dragons’ Den-style format with a top prize of £500.

Other key partners of the awards include Pfizer, EDF and Kent Renewable Energy limited.
