Ashford food bank was given boxes of Christmas goodies thanks to generous staff at Benenden Hospital.
During December the Hospital ran a reverse advent calendar scheme. Each day staff put food item into boxes dotted across the Hospital site with the final collection of goods including everything from chocolates and Christmas cake to crackers, tins of soup and cooking sauces.
The boxes of food were delivered to Ashford Family Food Bank, at Sevington, Ashford just before Christmas.
The reverse advent calendar scheme was the idea of the Hospital’s Director of Patient Services Claire Harley.
