Norovirus

Also known as the winter vomiting virus or bug, it is an extremely infections stomach bug belonging to a group of viruses called Norovirus. It is dubbed the 'winter vomiting virus' because it is more likely to cause illness during the winter months. These infections are however common all year round.

It is extremely contagious, and Benenden Hospital works hard to reduce the risk of norovirus to it's patients, visitors, and staff.
