I have 30 years' experience of healthcare management and co-founded a Kent based Community Interest Primary Care organisation in 2009, delivering new ways of providing GP services under nationally sponsored schemes. I am now a non-executive director after serving as Chief Executive for nearly 10 years. I also have experience in a range of industries including finance, IT, local government and entrepreneurial start ups in both the UK, USA and Bermuda.
I have an MBA from London Business School and a first degree in Art History and Philosophy. I have been a charity trustee and chair for International Cat Care and am currently a non-executive director for a commercial not-for-profit organisation developing well designed products for people with arthritis.
Last (but definitely not least), I am a great cat lover, a qualified feline behaviourist and currently developing training programmes for people working in cat welfare around the world. In the spare moments left I can be found gardening with my assistants - a husband to do the heavy lifting and a feline horticultural critic!
