Having been a Civil Servant all my working life (Valuation Office Agency, HMRC Executive Agency) and a Benenden Health member too, I am delighted to return to the Hospital Board of Governors and particularly proud to be elected as the chairwoman.
In 2013 following my retirement from full time employment I was elected as a branch nominated member of the Benenden Healthcare Society Board of Directors and now serve as the Vice Chairwoman.
I bring a broad range of transferable skills to Benenden Hospital gained over my working life countrywide. Previously I was on the TUC General Council where I represented members in the UK and internationally. Currently I sit as a panel member for the Employment Tribunal Service (HMCTS) in the South East region.
I try to be authentic in everything I do and along with my inquisitive nature and holistic approach to work will do all I can to ensure that our Hospital Trust is as good as it can be.
I am passionate about health and wellbeing and will always strive to ensure that our well led, outstanding, infection free hospital is sustainable into the future, fully utilising our beautifully redeveloped hospital and dedicated workforce to best advantage and for the benefit of everyone.
