About Dr Mahendra Kondagari
Born in India in 1976, I gained my medical degree at the prestigious Kurnool Medical College in India. I completed my GP training in Hastings and subsequently achieved my dermatology degree from Cardiff University.
Whilst I see patients with a wide range of medical concerns, my particular interests include dermatology and respiratory diseases.
In addition to the services I provide at Benenden Hospital, I also work with the NHS as a GP at the Rye Medical Centre in East Sussex.
Having previously worked with the Dermatology Department at the Conquest Hospital in East Sussex, I subsequently launched the new Dermatology Clinic at Rye Medical Centre.
Since December 2018 I have been a board member at the Rye Winchelsea & District Memorial Hospital.
Married with two young daughters, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing golf.
