If your GP feels you need to be referred to a consultant for further investigation for a possible a knee replacement, you can choose to be treated at benenden hospital.
If you are an NHS patient
For NHS patients can choose to have their treatment at benenden hospital through NHS Choice. Your GP may recommend that you come to benenden hospital, or alternatively you can specify that you wish to be treated here. Your GP, or you can make the booking at NHS Choose and Book| or you can call Choose and Book on 0845 608 8888.
Your GP will also be able to send your referral via fax or post to our Central Bookings Department who will then be in touch with you to confirm appointment dates and times.
If you are a member of benenden health
You can access treatment as a self-funded patient receiving an ‘exclusive to members’ reduction of 25% on the full private cost of the treatment.
To receive this discount at benenden hospital you will need a referral letter from your GP. You will then need to contact the Private Patients Co-ordinator at benenden hospital on 01580 242 576 to obtain your quote.
Once you have your referral letter and you are happy with the quote you can book your first appointment.
