NHS Choose and Book is a Government initiative that allows you to choose the time, date and hospital for your treatment.
When your GP decides that you need to see a specialist for treatment or have a diagnostic test, it is your right to be able to request benenden hospital as your preference. Your GP will then tell you if this is covered by Choose and Book. If it is, your GP will register you to generate your referral letter and personal Choose and Book reference. They will also make the appointment for you, or give you the option to arrange the appointment at your convenience.

All the costs of your NHS treatment at benenden hospital are covered by the NHS. You only pay for extra personal items (e.g. telephone calls), just as you would in an NHS hospital.

Our infection control is second-to-none - a task made easier because we do not handle emergency cases. We have a rigorous screening process in place and rigid procedures which strictly limit infections like MRSA and C Difficile.
