The Diagnostic Imaging Department is newly refurbished and well-equipped. The department has a highly skilled and experienced team of professionals able to undertake the investigations required. The Consultant Radiologists work jointly in a local NHS Trust to remain up-to-date and the team benefit from shared knowledge.
This department is leading the way in terms of new technology and is currently installing PACS and teleradiology systems that will enable images to be transmitted to other departments inside and outside the Hospital when fully operational. This means results can be obtained speedily and the Consultant can share the image with the patient in the outpatient clinic.
