Dermatology (Skin Problems)

Until May 2005 the Dermatology Department only offered treatment for Psoriasis and Eczema. This service continues with patients attending the Lister Medical Centre and staying overnight in Peek Lodge if necessary. Care is provided in a holistic manner with the opportunity to refer to other professionals to aid the healing process. This includes Psychotherapy and Dietetic support.

Benenden has now started a new and expanded Dermatology Service that includes full consultation and diagnosis.

• Acne
• Removal of skin lesion or moles
• Treatment of Psoriasis and Eczema
• Treatment of skin rashes and complaints
• Patch testing
• UVB therapy
