Outpatients

Being an outpatient means having consultation and or treatments at the hospital that should only take a short while. Some may require a short stay on a ward for monitoring purposes but never an overnight stay.

If you would like further information or wish to organise any special requirements in advance of your admission - e.g. dietary, mobility etc. - please telephone 01580 240333.

Please inform us if an interpreter is required.  This may take some time to arrange so please contact us urgently.

Please go to the main reception - they will direct you to your Consultant's clinic.

After your consultation, and before you leave, please arrange your next appointment (if there is one) with Central Bookings. You may find it useful to bring your diary with you.

If, following your consultation, you would like any further information or advice, or you have not understood the information you have been given, please ask. The receptionist and nursing staff are there to help you.

While every effort will be made for you to be seen by the Consultant named on your appointment card, this cannot be guaranteed. This means that you may be seen by another doctor within the clinical team.
