Visitors are welcome to the ward, throughout the day. Visits may be restricted in the patient's interest on the day of operation or at the discretion of the Nursing staff. Visitors are requested to report to ward reception desk on arrival. Children are allowed to visit by arrangement with the Staff but we ask that they do not disturb other patients. In the case of very young children and babies, we would prefer that you don't bring them to visit. However, if this is unavoidable please phone ahead so we can make special arrangements. Visiting hours are from 1100-1330 and 1500-2000 hrs.
For reasons of hygiene, only registered guide dogs are allowed in Hospital grounds or premises.
Visitors are requested to switch off mobile phones inside Hospital buildings especially in clinical areas as these cause a nuisance to other patients.
Refreshments can be obtained from vending machines and the Visitor's Tea Room situated above the Main Reception area.

Visitors may like to know that the Hospital Chapel (St Margaret's) is open for private prayer. St Margaret's can be found along the road westwards from the main car park.
