Urology
Appointment:
Full time, shared position with Dartford and Gravesham NHS
Special Interest: Urological stone disease, erectile dysfunction. Peyronie's disease, diagnosis and treatment of urological cancer in particular prostate and kidney
Common procedures/treatments: Ureteronephroscopy, Lithotripsy, Prostatectomy
Consultant outline: I graduated with a Medical Degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1983. Following the Danish specialist education in both General Surgery and Urology, I hold full Danish and UK certifications in both specialities.
My research activities include 23 original papers and a PhD degree in medicine (1995) and I was Clinical Associate Professor in Urology at the University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Health Sciences, 1996 - 2001.
Before joining Benenden Hospital in June 2007, I also worked as a urologist in New Zealand and the Caribbean.
My goal is to further develop the urologicial service at Benenden Hospital including minimal invasive surgery.
