Consultant outline:
Originally from New York, Dr Henderson took his first degree in Biochemistry from the University of London before qualifying in Medicine at Cambridge in 1982. He trained in Rhematology at the Royal Free Hospital in London and spent two years in research at the Royal London Hospital. He is presently a Consultant at the Conquest Hospital in Hastings and is the Clinical Lead for Rheumatology for the East Sussex Hospitals Trust. He joined the clinical staff at Benenden on a sessional basis in September 2007. He has been Chairman of the East Kent & Weald Rheumatology Audit and Advisory Group, and is currently Chairman-elect of the Hastings Division of the BMA.
