Special Interest: Keyhole surgery, knee, shoulder, elbow and ankle. Open surgery of limbs. Replacements of major joints.
Common procedures/treatments: Knee arthroscopy, meniscus repair, knee replacement. Shoulder arthroscopy, decompression, ac-resection, instability surgery, shoulder replacement. General hand and feet surgery.
Consultant outline: Graduated from Copenhagen University, Denmark in 1982. Trained in a District General Hospital in Denmark and two university hospitals. Specialist in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery since 1995. From 2002 until 2006 Clinical Manager for A&E, education of orthopaedic registrars and part of management team at a District General Hospital in Denmark. Since then worked in Norway and Sweden for seven months and in UK Day Surgery Unit for one and half years.
