Full time between Benenden Hospital and Maidstone Hospital
Special Interest: Uro-gynaecology, Pelvic floor surgery, Laparoscopic surgery, Colposcopy
Common procedures/treatments: Medical and surgical treatment of female urinary incontinence, surgery for genital prolapse and key-hole surgery.
Consultant outline: Mr Mossa is the lead for Urogynaecology. He developed the Benenden Continence Care Group (BCCG), a multidisciplinary team which addresses the management of female urinary incontinence. He performs a wide range of urogynaecological & pelvic floor surgical procedures which are all subjected to audits & research. The results of some of his research & audit projects have already been presented in national and international scientific meetings e.g. the International Continence Society (ICS) and the Annual Research Meeting of the British Society of Urogynaecologists (BSUG). Mr Mossa is regularly involved in training gynaecologists of different grades in pelvic floor surgery and surgery for female urinary incontinence.
