Q: Are there any parking facilities?
A:

The hospital has two 'free' public car parks.  The main Hospital car park is situated on the right, opposite the main Hospital building.  The second is situated opposite Peek Lodge and is mainly used by Peek Lodge visitors and staff.

We would also like to bring to your attention that cars should not be left on site whilst you are an in-patient.

Q: What Food and Refreshments are available?
A:

  • The Penthouse Diner serves snacks, beverages and hot food between 7.45 and 18.30.  It is located on the top floor of the surgical block.
  • The Dining room serves hot and cold snacks, hot meals and beverages between 11.30 and 14.00 (Monday to Friday only).  It is located in the Administration Building.
  • Vending Machines for hot and cold beverages and snacks are located outside the Jubilee clinic, the Princess Ward waiting area and in the Dining Room.
  • The shop and Post Office situated in main reception sells various items including confectionery (open between 9.00 and 16.00).

Q: Is there a hotel facility? 
A: Reasonably priced bed and breakfast accommodation is available on the Hospital site at Peek Lodge.  For more information please view 'On-site Hotel'|.

Q: What Disabled Facilities are Available?
A:

There are two disabled parking bays situated directly outside the main Hospital entrance and a further two bays in the main car park opposite the main Hospital building.  The roadway also slopes down to the main entrance.

There is level access to ground floor wards and clinics, and lift access to other parts of the Hospital building.

Wheelchairs are also available.  You can contact the Hospital Reception on 01580 240333 to organise this in advance of your attendance.
