The Learning and Development Centre has its own building in the grounds of benenden hospital and runs regular HSE-certificated First Aid courses open to all.
We have two fully qualified first aid trainers who are also available to run courses at other venues.
We are very pleased to be able to offer a discount to benenden health members for places on our First Aid courses. Please contact the Learning & Development Centre for details.
We also offer a specially-designed course called Emergency First Aid for Schools. It would be valuable for anyone supervising children and suitable dates can be arranged through the Centre.
NOTE: The HSE have recently published new guidelines regarding the provision of First Aid courses and recommend that all First Aiders qualifying after October 2010 should complete a short update course annually. We are supporting these guidelines as part of maintaining the expertise of the First Aiders we train and have incorporated half day training sessions in our 2013 diary.
