Benenden Hospital is an independent trust hospital with charitable status. We deliver a ride range of elective medical and surgical treatments for Benenden Healthcare Society Members, NHS, Private and Self-Funded Patients.

Benenden Hospital is a subsidiary of the Benenden Healthcare Society Limited and provides high quality elective medical and surgical services for Benenden Healthcare members. The hospital can also provide treatment for private and self funded patients as well as NHS Choose and Book patients.

No. As well as Benenden Healthcare Society members, Benenden Hospital takes NHS Choose and Book, Private and Self-Funded Patients. However some of the patient groups are not able to access every service. Check here for Services and Treatments available| to each patient group.

Answer:

The route for getting an appointment depends on whether you are a member of the Benenden Healthcare Society, an NHS Patient or a Private or Self-Funded Patient. The Member Services department can assist Benenden Healthcare members with any queries. You can contact them on 0845 052 5720* (8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays). Other patients are invited to call for further information the hospital's central booking service on 01580 240333*.

There are five disabled parking spaces in close proximity to the main car park.  You should be aware that the roadway slopes down to the main entrance.

There is level access to ground floor wards and clinics, and lift access to other parts of the Hospital building.

Wheelchairs are also available for use. You can contact the Hospital Reception on 01580 240333* to organise this in advance of your attendance. Lines open Mon- Fri 7:30am - 8pm, Sat -Sun 8:30am - 8pm. Out of hours calls accepted.

The RM Society |(Supporters of Benenden Hospital) is run by volunteers and other interested parties to generate additional income for the Hospital.

Answer:

The hospital has two large free car parks. The main car park is situated on Goddard’s Green Road opposite the main hospital building.

Cars should not be left on site while you are an in-patient.

Answer:

The hospital’s 'The Café' serves hot and cold snacks, beverages between 7.45am and 6.30pm including Saturday and Sunday. It is located on the top floor of the surgical block in the main building.

The Dining Room serves hot and cold snacks, hot meals and beverages between 11.30am and 2.00pm (Monday to Friday only). It is located in the Administration Building.

Vending Machines for hot and cold drinks and snacks are located outside the Jubilee clinic, the Day Surgery Unit waiting area and in the Dining Room.

The shop is situated in main reception sells various items including confectionery (open between 9.00am and 4.00pm).
