Benenden Healthcare Society

Benenden Healthcare is a mutual, not-for-profit friendly Society owned by and run for its members.

The Society is a mutual organisation, not a medical insurer. Its members club together so they can get the first class medical help they need when they need it most.

Benenden Healthcare is one of the UK's longest serving and most respected mutual healthcare societies. The Society has a membership of around 930,000 and is currently open to all:

Public sector workers and their families
Employees of organisations whose aims and objectives are compatible with the Society.
Members of charities, credit unions and co-operatives.

Benenden Hospital is a subsidiary of the Benenden Healthcare Society and one of the regional treatment centres to which the Society refers Benenden Healthcare members for treatment.
